The Law of Creation
The Forgotten Side of the Equation

December 1 rolls around, and all the gurus start talking about setting goals for the new year. That’s all fine and dandy, but first you should understand something about the Law of Creation: before you begin putting structure around your goals for 2010, you must first be clear that you are complete with 2009.

You’d never dream of building a house without a solid foundation, would you? If you want to create the future, you must first be present to the reality of your “right now,” without regrets, relief, or the thrill of success. I say that because any emotions – bad or good – indicate you are attached to the situation and therefore incomplete in some way.

My wish for you this holiday season is that you give yourself the gift of being complete with 2009 before you begin to plan for 2010. That gift allows for the energies of a powerful 2010 to come into your life.

Five Steps to a Powerful Completion of 2009

  1. Pull out your 2009 calendar and remind yourself of what actually happened during the course of the year.
  2. Make a list of everything for which you still have an emotional charge – good or bad.
  3. Consider what you are still “holding on to” in regards to each situation.
  4. What do you need to do, be, or say in order to let go of the emotional attachment?
  5. Do it, Be it, Say it!

The Law of Creation applies to much more than creating a powerful new year. It applies to creating anything and everything in your life. If you have questions during the process, give me a call or send me an email.

Social Media Strategy

Everywhere we turn, we hear that social media has become an important force in business marketing, which is very true. Money goes where people go, and people are going to social media sites.

Having an account in a social media platform (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) is not the same as having a social media “strategy”, and having a strategy is essential for success.

Allan Curtis and Sandi Maki have a common sense approach to integrating social media into a business marketing plan, and would love to help you define, develop, implement and maintain a successful strategy.

The process begins with setting some social media goals, and incorporating the best elements of what is available in the social media world today, with the ability to grow and change tomorrow. A successful strategy can be developed utilizing your existing web presence, and gaining the maximum amount of traction by adding the most important social media elements to your marketing mix.

Join us for a luncheon event hosted by the E-Loft, Tuesday, December 29th, 2009 at 11:30am and learn how and why these social media sites should be an important part of your marketing mix.

The holiday season is a great time to sit back and reflect on my life and those around me . It is a phenomenon that always leaves me feeling pretty darn good. Everyone has their own set of challenges and I am glad that I’m me. Being around the Insights Group tribe has spoiled me to what people talk about and reminds me how a positive mental attitude creates magic in my life. Thanks to all of you for making my life Perfect! Love to all, Al

Christmas won’t be Christmas without presents

This quote is credited to -Jo March (Louisa May Alcott) in Little Women.

Christmas is a time for gifts!

Christmas is all about gifts. Nothing but gifts. But such gifts! Gifts tied with heartstrings. Gifts that surprise and delight. Gifts that transform the mundane into the miraculous. Gifts that nurture the souls of both the giver and the given. Perfect gifts. Authentic gifts.

Unconditional Love. Selflessness. Trust. Faith. Forgiveness. Wholeness. Second Chances. Comfort. Joy. Peace. Reassurance. Rejoicing. Generosity. Compassion. Charity. Wonder. Acceptance. Courage.

To give such gifts. To truly open our hearts to receive such gifts gratefully. Christmas just won’t be Christmas without any presents. -Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach
