Dear Al!

Your daughter is brilliant! (Of course) There are a few shows for which I put up with the commercials, but most of the time I am watching TCM - Turner Classic Movies. 1) NO commercial interruptions. 2) The only advertising is for their program guide and movies. 3) Most movies are G or PG. 4) Most movies are from a time when the young man/woman left home to see the world with what we now consider an overnight bag.

Very soon I will probably lose this access, but I am already prepared with my Library card!

Sleep is good too.

Ah yes....thank goodness for the DVR. We have to assume that the next step will be subscription-based television without the advertising, right?
