When we allow our all important adult brain to rule us, we automatically strap on blinders. These filters that we view life through (previous experiences, habits, associations with people, upbringing, etc.), don’t allow us to see so many bits of inspiration/creativity and opportunity that surrounds us. How do you recognize these filters?
The beginning of recognition is awareness. Next is gratitude for where you are currently at. Finally work on an action/intent to change these filters. We can overwrite our programming but it takes dedication to the process. The greatest thing that you can do for yourself is spend time around people that are willing to support you and fill your mind with positive messages.
What do you need to work on?

You are so right, Al! I especially urge people to become aware of how much they have to be grateful for in their lives. So many people focus of what is wrong with them and their lives, rather than what is right. Gratefulness is a great attitude. Write what you are grateful for every day. And you will keep discovering how much more there is to be grateful for.
