Often time we fear things because of their size, reputation or some other reason. The reality is that the fear really is just a story we tell ourselves. We associate something we hear, see or witness in some other way, with a story. This story creates your world. The story controls everything you do!
How about a bumble bee. It is the largest bee we have around here and yet it is harmless. We are conditioned that bees are bad and that they hurt you when they sting. Therefore the story is created. I would dare each of you to hold a bumble bee one day. Then you will know that just because it is big, that doesn’t mean that it will hurt you!!

Cool! Thanks.

Wikipedia says they can sting, but don’t usually.
Anyway, those big carpenter bees are mean, not nice like bumblebees. But I think that people are put off by appearances.
Although, I really don’t like anything in the wasp family, even if they do eat other bugs.
On a separate note, dragonflys are cool – they’re beautiful and they eat mosquitos and other bugs. Win win!
