The short answer is YES! The long answer is YES!
I just had an email conversation with a client who is working on some changes to the website and shopping cart…she wants to wait to blog until these are taken care of. I say, Why wait? Take it one day at a time with social media, and lean into it. And, YES, you need to be blogging now, even if everything is not perfect. It never will be. Tell your story anyway. We want to hear it!
Are you blogging? What are you blogging about? How long have you been blogging, and what do your first posts look like compared to your message now? I’d love to hear!

Yes, everyone should blog. I was one of those hold outs. Started blogging, loved it, had to change blogging hosts and it took what seemed to be forever. Now it is up and yesterday, I was back to blogging.
My hold out was, “What can you blog about with designing cakes?” Yes, pictures of cakes, etc., I have found out that there are a lot of things I can tell my customers, i.e. How to measure crisco without needing to clean another cup. Want to know? Check my blog, that subject is being posted in a day or so.
Thanks Sandy and Al for giving my the little nudge.

Some people get into “planning mode.” They sit there in the pursuit of perfection and preparation that they never get anywhere! Sometimes it’s best to “just do” and figure things out along the way (at least in my opinion). That’s one of the best ways to learn…
