Facebook has created a whole new way for us to connect with people and help them feel special on their birthday…one of our members recently discovered this (yes, she is REALLY new to facebook). Today was her Birthday and she was overwhelmed with all the good wishes AND that so many people knew…what a cool opportunity to reach out to someone and say Hello! This is not something we typically cover in social media 101, but maybe we should!
This got me thinking…what if it was your birthday once a month? Are we paying that close attention to people that we know casually through FB that we would notice if it happened more often? Conversation starter? Could be an interesting experiment…
