Todays tip has to do with auto following systems. Many of us have looked for the magic bullet to create large follower numbers rapidly. For those who are still looking, I’d just give up and get down to business and build it organically and put out good content. Twitter has really cracked down on the auto follow / unfollow applications so I would recommend just doing the work. Remember why you are doing this in the first place! By the way, Why are you doing Twitter?

I agree about not going out to build a huge list. After all, are those really people who will listen to you? If people find you on their own, they are more likely to be engaged with you. That’s what I have found. I have some very meaningful relationships that have developed over Twitter. If I was following thousands of people, it would be much harder to engage. I only follow about 100 right now, even though 450 or so follow me.
My latest exciting scoop about twitter…I tweet with a very well known business and real estate author who has asked if I want to write a chapter or 2 in a future book of hers! Never would’ve had the opportunity if I wasn’t engaging with people on Twitter:)
