I was recently asked by my 5 year old daughter, “Dad, what do you want to be when you grow up?”. Well that question has been on my mind ever since. I’ve been self employed for so long now that I don’t even think I’m employable. In that case I don’t think I will ever grow up. I’m having to much fun being a big kid.
We live in a world where the adult “all important self” reigns supreme, which really stinks. Why can’t we just view life as a kid does and just make our businesses fun? Social media kind of gives us this opportunity. We can design our own image and be whatever we want. At no time in history have we been able to control our persona brand as much as today based on the use of social media. Choose your own image and develop it in the online world.
So, what do you want to be when you grow up?
