With his fun and witty style, Moe will tell you that he has a passion for time management, and became a technique expert to compensate for his innate ability to do so.
Al Curtis and Moe Benda have a history that goes back to the approximate age of 3. Their lives have taken them on interesting journeys, and as a part of their lives now they help to inspire, motivate, and train individuals attending their leadership academies, marketing and branding talks, and keynote events. Behind the curtain Moe is as melancholy (see the personalities assessments – and know that this refers to analytic) though as soon as the curtain opens, he is as sanguine as can be.
Moe brings excellent team building and people management skills to the job. He’s very receptive to his team’s input and needs. He knows how to utilize each team members strengths and skills for the best interests of the business.
Moe has extensive Six-Sigma and Lean experience, and provides excellent mentoring skills in these areas.

Sometimes people like to have a day job, so Moe is currently with the University of Minnesota – Duluth as the director of the Iron Range/UMD Graduate Engineering Program as an Instructor, Chemical Engineering.
He has worked with Cirrus, the Albany Chicago Co., RAM Systems. Valspar Corp., BP Inc., BASF, and Bayer. We hear he knows his way around a spreadsheet. He’s also been published, granted a patent, and way back when was on the cheerleading squad at the University of Michigan. Oh, he also Deutsch sprechen.
A childhood incident has prompted Moe to take action and become a helper everywhere he can. He’s a volunteer firefighter, and on the National Ski Patrol at Giant’s Ridge in Minnesota, he also coaches youth hockey, and volunteers anywhere he sees a need.
